You just made my day brena, ;D It's obvious that there is nothing wrong with them, that's why I'm so reluctant to take them to the Vet. She could start a needless therapy, or she could just say - there's nothing wrong with them... I think we both have a multiple pet syndrom which disables us from feeding small portions the ones who need that sort of therapy... ;D Oh, well I'm just glad we're not the only ones to scrape undigested food remains off the floors and furniture... LOL ;D

that's just it three of them are quite over weight but my girls are so thin i don't dare take up the food or change to a low fat food and there really is no way i could feed them one at a time. any one who thinks thats a possibility has never had to deal with the stuborness of a cat, they eat what they want when they want and thats the way it is. of course i can't even get my dogs two of which are over weight to eat what i give them when i want them too. i think maybe i am just not taken seriously around here.

i have had a break through. we switched to meow mix indoor formula, i didn't notice a difference at first but after about two weeks it dramatically reduced the amount and frequency of the vomiting. we then went back to the previous type of food (there was no indoor formula left)and they were tossing all over again. so we went and got the indoor stuff again and we are almost vomit free. i really hope they have that brand where you are, you have to keep them on it for awhile before it makes a difference though. good luck!

Hi Brena, I've never seen it in any of the shops or pet stores in the UK but perhaps it's available in Croatia, you never know. Which company makes it?

Thnx for your concern, but we DON'T have any mieow mix here. We used to have classic mieow mix in a yellow 400g box while Olja was still a kitten and she LOVED IT, as well as Cat Chow. Neither of those two brands are available any more. Both brands were a default versions, not indoor formulas. We do have Hills and Royal Canine. In at least 20 varieties each, as well as prescription diets (available only at vet clinics). That's what they are eating now. All 4 of them, this is now the third week of prescription diet. Results: both boys (the guilty persons) still throw up from time to time - not every day, but lets say - once in three days. Girls didn't have any problems with that, and still don't have, except for Olga who throws up a giant hairball 2-3 times per week. ;D I think we should stop this nonsense, 'cause we'll end up broke. We spent huge amounts of money on cats in past 4 weeks. Now I don't have any left to run proper tests on those two idiots. It sounds like they have some kind of autoimmune intestinal disorder, and I fear that even the tests won't show anything relevant. They behave normal. Nothing is wrong (if you ask THEM). It's just Mommy who goes nuts when she has to clean those piles.

Don't forget everybody. Half of the expense with animal products is simply down to the fact that the manufacturers (and worse than anynbody are the vets) know for a fact that you will do anything and pay anything to keep your animal healthy.
IAMS (a very well known speciality food) keep dogs in solitary confinement for 5 years whilst quality controling new products.
I have to add a legal note. This information was provided to me by an animal rights individual and I have not investigated the claim.
