hello everybody. im so sorry that ive been away. lots and lots of problems to take care of and i can say without doubt that 2006 was the worst year of my life so far. there were definite highlights including meeting tihana and dinko in the summer. the main catsnaps website is now offline. i wanted to keep it going but the monthly cost combined with the other reasons i have been offline have meant it is pretty much impossible. hopefully some things will work out in january and i will make a new site, not just for cats but all of the cat photos we had (aolmost a thousand) will go o nto that site too. if anybody would like copies of the current catsnaps photo galleries on cd please pm me, i will post it too you as far as the forum goes. my problem is general free time. i wont shut the forum down and id be interested to find out if chris and/or tihana and/or brena would like to take over the admin. i just dont have the time or mental energy to keep it going. im sorry thank you all so so much for using this place and sending in your cat pics over the last couple of years. have a great christmas an new year. all the best for 2007 ;D your mate rob ps: to anybody that knows about martin cat and his broken leg. i want to let you know he is doing great. he has to go for xrays on january the 8th when we will know more but it looks like he is going to be just purrfect

Hi Rob Hope you had a good Christmas and I'm sorry your year didn't pan out so well but it's nearly a new one, which will hopefully be a better one for you. Don't dismiss it all as bad though, you set this place up for a start and although it seems quiet now it was fun meeting new people on here.

Hi everyone, I could copypaste Rob's post just using different names. Worst year ever. When I thought it was finally over, it struck upon us one more time by worst means possible. My Dad died last night. And I sincerely hope now is the end of the year 2006. Regardless all the bad that had happened, I'm thankfull for meeting Rob&Jayne, along with all of you guys here on this site, especially Chris, who I consider to be my sincere friend. I met more wonderful people in last couple of months, all via various forums. So, I guess I can say: Long live the Internet! At least I have something to hope for in year 2007 and that's meeting Chris in person, as well as summiting some of the highest peaks in the Alps. I'll proceed with finding homes for feral kitties, in fact I have one at home right now. Few days after I gave Veverka for adoption I brought in another one. That's her: So, I wish us all much happier year 2007, and it shouldn't be a problem, because it can't get worst than this. Take care all of you and enjoy life as much as you can! love, Tihana

oh my god zoooo i am so sorry for your loss. what an amazing attitude you have, i applaud you for looking to the future with hope. you have an indelible spirit.
i have said so in private but once more publicly i would like to say i hope things greatly improve for you rob, you are a really nice person and i hate to hear you're having such a hard time.
i don't know what it is about this year but it has been a hard one for almost everyone i know myself included. we have been struggling financially for about a year and a half. we have a small home improvement/construction company. we ran into a problem with a costumer in the development where we did most of our work. he is suing us (we found out after we started his job that he has sued every contractor that has worked for him, but by then it was too late) and now no one from the neighborhood will use us. we had four other jobs this year where we were screwed out of the end payment which was over $3000 each time. our house was about to be foreclosed on but thank god my grandparents gave us the money we needed to stop it. then on dec 7th skip was driving in the city to pick up supplies we needed for one of the jobs we are doing and was pulled over for speeding. he had an outstanding warrant from 1998 (before we were together he was alittle wild in his younger days. he behaves now) so they took him to a jail called the round house. he was being moved from there to have his warrant hearing (where they would set bail so i could pay and get him out) there were several other men being moved as well, one of them said something smart to a guard, the guard thought it was skip and told him to turn around get against the wall and spread his legs, once he did the guard kicked him in between them. he passed out and ended up in the hospital because of it. he had to have surgery, he was extremely swollen but there was no blood in his scrotum and both testicles were intact. he was in the hospital for two weeks. when he was released from the hospital he had to go back to jail for the hearing and although he was put in the medical ward they would not let him have the jock strap he was supposed to wear and his stitches tore out, because he was there for two more days it was too late to have him stitched back up when he got home. needless to say the whole thing was a nightmare. he is in alot of pain and not able to do much. our holidays were pretty much ruined and that is why i have been absent from here. so here's to 2007 may it be everything 2006 was not.
i hope you all have a happy and healthy new year filled with love, answered prayers and dreams come true!!!!
