Try not to give up hope entirely. It is possible that he has just gone ona kitty adventure. Ours do from time to time. It is a hard thing to cope with and I really am not trying to fill you with false hope, just let you know that it might not be the end. I am sending positive thoughts accross the Atlantic to the little mite and telling him to hurry up and go home.

Thanks so much.....I try not to get too excited about it,though.I do hope that if he never returns that he has found a family that loves him like I did.

I had one hoopy-cool cat by the name of Frodo. He was a long, thin tuxedo cat that I raised from a tiny kitten. When he was a 3 years old someone thought it would be funny to go about 1 meter off the road to hit him. I still miss him these 26 years later. By the way I'm Beatlesforever's and Phoenixsong's older sister(by 11 months).

Rumple that is a totally unforgiveable thing to do. Actually going onto the sidewalk to aim for the poor mite!?!?!? I don't know how people can be so heartless it's disgusting. 26 years of grief must be a very hard thing to deal with sometimes but do you have another Kitty to sit on your lap and help you through?

The one "we" lost and will never forget is definitely our dear departed Bondjo . We had a marvelous cat at our horse-riding club. His home was in a house just next door to the club and Bondjo kept spending all his roaming time at the stables and has made many horse friends (he even used to sleep in the horse's manger ) and hunted many mice. He was the friendliest, most affectionate cat I've ever met. When I think about him, he was actually more of a dog trapped inside a cat's body ;D Whenever he saw a person, no matter if it was someone he knew, or a complete stranger, he would run toward you and if he didn't try to jump into your arms, he would climb up your trousers and would demand that he be stroked. If you called him to you, he immediately ran toward you and if you gave him a sign to jump onto your lap, you didn't need to tell him twice. He would purr and slobber so much that it was unbelievable. He would hug you and push his head to your neck and caress like crazy, and when he's had enough, he would make his nest on your lap and fall fast asleep by sticking his head unto your arms . Bondjo was really a special and intelligent cat. He was frequently seen waiting at the pavement and checking for the coming cars, and would cross only when the coast was clear ;D. Sadly, Bondjo disappeared in mid December and no one has seen him since. At the stables, we didn't worry too much about not seeing him during the winter months, as it was a normal practice that Bondjo would get locked up in the house and was forced to sleep, purr and slobber in front of the lovely fireplace ;D -- so we didn't know he had gone missing until about a month ago . Bondjo's Mum told us that she didn't see him since December and there were neither signs that he got run over by a car, nor that he was poisoned, or anything like that. I am very sad for not having Bondjo with us at the stables any more. All of us really miss him and frequently talk about him and deep down, we hope that he will reappear some day. Bondjo had most beautiful green eyes and very soft and thick fur. Here are the only 3 pictures I have of him.

I lost two of my fur angels in 2004 months apart, I still and always will miss them immensely. To Katy & Shadow...I Love You guys, Run Free, Til we meet again From Katy & Shadow Mom, please don’t feel guilty It was just our time to go. I see you are still feeling sad, And the tears just seem to flow.
We all come to earth for our lifetime, And for some it’s not many years We don’t want you to keep crying You are shedding so many tears.
We haven’t really left you Even though it may seem so. We have just gone to our heavenly home, And we are closer to you than you know.
Just believe that when you say our name We're standing next to you, We know you long to see us, But there’s nothing we can do.
But we’ll still send you messages And hope you understand, That when your time comes to “cross over,” We’ll be there to take your hand.

Another one of our beautiful felines crossed the Rainbow Bridge this year. Belle, a 14 1/2 year old Siamese mix died of heart failure. My husband & I really miss that sweet girl. She joins her former earthly companions Onyx and Navarre.
